well guys, i finally found a rear setup that i wanted. i got an elka rear c/r adjustable that was rebuilt by gt thunder with an xc link. sorry for the crappy picture. i might not be able to test it for a while :(. its dirty, but it seems to be in good shape.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for this set up? The reason I am asking is because I am badly in need of new suspension, and want to know a good deal when I see one.

this is about a $1500 setup.. i got it for 330+ shipping :D . i posted a link to a rear dual rate elka with the lt link that sold for 265 yesterday.. that would have been sweet. keep an eye out. there was a dual rate axis that didn't get any bids with a starting price of $400. my guess is it will be back later.. a little cheaper.

I ended up going with the works, I have the works triple rates up front and I love them there awesome. I dont do any jumping really and figured heck why not get the works. I got it brand new 2 rides on it for $250.

The fronts I stole for $175

Good luck with your job, I know you wanna ride it just as much as I wanna buy a shock and link, it totally sucks when you can't try something out right a way.

Your gonna be blown away when you finally ride it, i stole a dual rate axis rear off ebay for like $255 shipped. It even has a long line for the reservoir so i mounted the rear reservoir in the front of the quad next to the front shock rezzies. It has made the biggest difference on the trail though. I can haul over the whoops even more than before. Nice purchase!!

Oh yea it never ends, i thought i was done now im thinking stabilizer and maybe some hypers. Or a LSR sub frame. Dam addictions lol

dude dont sweat the single spring setup. My works its like straddling a freakin cloud. It is so awesome.

I know what you mean it dont end. Next for me is new nerfs im wanting to get some pro peg bars, bead locks all around, new front tires, new bar setup and steering stab. After that I am not sure what I will do. I def NEED the new tires, rest is just the want list but it will happen.

Right now im focusing on my stereo system (in my dodge). My CD player quite on me and with my brand spankin new 2400Watt setup kinda blows not being able to adjust on it.

see there Mike,
There you go again with your thoughtless, and inconsiderate comments. I can't belive how insensative you are.

You've hurt somebody's feelings with your careless conduct, and alienated a fellow member who obviously will greatly suffer now from feelings of inaptitude.
boo on you! boo-Booo-BOOOOooooo!

He may even require professional help to restore any hope of normalcy, and feelings of acceptability in todays society.
You should feel ashamed of yourself. You should hang your head in shameful remorse, and plead for forgiveness.

How could you do such a thing !?!?!?!
How can you sleep at night ?
how can you live with yourself ?

:blah: :D

we only have so many sets of klaws because we got them pretty much all at the same time and they don't die :p . i'll probably be running razr2 fronts and razr rears next.. if my klaws ever wear down. they are decent trail tires.. they just don't bite under hard forward acceleration.

My bro in law just got a set of knarly tires as well. My next set im not to picky on brand but they will be 22's for sure.

I like my knarlys alot, my friend had 22" hole shots and they had WAY to much side bite. If you were trying to corner it you didnt know if it would slide or bite and roll. I would rather have my kendas any day.
