250x bog

My 87 250X bogs in low rpms till you hit about half thottle then it takes right off. what could be the cause of that? I dont realy no that much about it i just got it.

pilot jet. it's the smaller one that controls the fuel from idle to 1/4 throttle. clean the carb and especially check that jet. take it off and apart completely and take all jets out and blow with compressed air then spray with carb cleaner. put it back together and see if it clears up. if not, make sure it idles well. if it doesn't, try experimenting with the fuel screw. i just think it needs to be cleaned out.

Ya it idle's great just bogs when you go to take off but about half throttle it takes right off. and ya i'll try cleaning the carb thanks.
