I really don't use 5th much, so i thought i may be able to pull the front end up better and start using 5th lol

That will definitely be the result you will get. Lots more low end and the gears will be much shorter. Each gear will "max out" much faster, and 5th will feel like your old 4th, 4th like your old 3rd, etc.

Not the best for wide open areas where you want to go fast as you will be shifting constantly, but for tight areas and hill climbs it will be ideal.

I ride alot of tight really tight trails. I went with a 15T front sprocket and it prevents so much shifting. does affect bottom end some but not really bad. Top end is a bit faster to but not a huge improvenment. for the 99 to 04's alot of ppl run the 13T front 05 to 09 alot drop down as well.

i had a 13 front and bumped it up to a 15. i like the 15 much better but it all depends on what you are looking for. you will accelerate faster with a 13 but with the 15 you just keep on pullin. big difference. you can also tweak a few mph out of the rear sprocket. 15/36 is what im running. works good for open / woods / pits / just about all around anything
