04-05 Vs 06-07 frames

can i run an 06-07 engine and subframe in a 04-05 frame my 07 frame is cracked not having any luck finding a new one but 04-05's are everywhere it seems like any help would be great.

Im about to be answering your question but it will be about 2 weeks. I Bent my 07 frame last weekend. All i can find was an 04 frame. I have owned both styles and i really dont see why it wont work if you use just the frame. I hope it will work anyway cause the 04 frame i bought is planned to go in the oven for powdercoating on sunday. where and how bad is yours cracked. I cracked my 07 frame several times and it could always be fixed

I've heard that the 07 motor won't fit in the 04/05 without modifications.

i got mine done. It works but its not a drop in and ride swich. Scro is right it took some modding. I had to make all new spacers that go in the motor mounts. The motor mounts are an inch difference in width on the 2 frames. with the being said your 3 motor mount bolts are too lon also so they wil have to be replaced. It works it just takes work.
