raptor 660 running like crap

Took my 05 660 raptor out a couple of days ago and it ran fine and then I took it out yesterday and now its really boggin and back firing,does any body have an idea what I should start looking at? Thanx!

probably the carb...seems to be the center of most problems

I'm not really a card guy so I try and stay away from them,would I start with the air and fuel set screws???

I would start by checking your air filter. If it just all of a sudden started running like crap, I wouldn't mess with the air/fuel mixture screw. Your probably just gonna make things worse. Check your air filter, make sure gas is on, make sure carb is getting gas, then start messing with the carb.

Ya the air filter is good and its getting gas,it feels like there is not as much bottom end power like it was.but it still has lots of mid and top end power.could it be the velve?

pilot might be clogged up or something i would take it apart and clean it all really good before doing any changing. if it was running good then started running bad without any changes something got clogged up somewhere. steve
