when i hit the button all the thing does is whine it dont roll the engine

sounds like your one way starter clutch has gone bad. replaced mine on my 06 this past winter. had the same problem

the 06 had a recall on the starter clutch had mine replaced twice now

i second that. mine just went for the second time.. grr..
