86 Quad R, swingarm chain guide?

86 Quad R,

I was looking through the old posts and saw one of you talking about adding a chain guide on a stock swingarm.

Would this be a wise thing for me to do, as I am in the beginning of a rebuild and all my parts come back from the sandblaster tomorrow.

sure. it's always good to have a rear chain guide and if you have the means/knowledge to to so, i'd recommend it. :cool:

ok, How would you suggest doing it and what parts would I need? I have access to a welder who does excellent work. Perhaps you might have a copy of the post you originally posted.

you anygood with a welder and fabricating? if so, i'd suggest go by how the aftermarkets are done. only use a banshee oem chain guide as a reference point. :cool:
