My daughter raced this weekend, we noticed a small exhaust leak @ the head just before the race. She went ahead & raced, by lap 2 it was getting louder & by lap 4 the nuts rattled loose from the headpipe flange. Bottom line here is the front pipe was loose for about a 25min race on a 100 deg day. By the last lap it was starting to have some oil smoke out of the exhaust. I took it home, pulled the plug & put some oil in the cylinder, rotated it around a few times, put it all back together. It seems to run as usual, just wondering how much damage and/or premature wear we casued by overheating it like that. Also not sure how the aluminum cylinder will react to all of that heat & the spark plug did have white all around the base of the threads......? Thanks for any input on this, sorry so long winded
