Its official, we need to make a thread of the list of people thats dropped the 400 for a 450. I just did the other week and I read where another guy was/is too. Its funny my thread has over 100 views and noone said chit. Kinda like this one. Noone wants to say goodbye.

ya i know how hard it is to say goodbye to people even a bike thats why i am fixing my 400ex but will also have my ktm 525 as my main bike and the 400 as a backup and also sentimental value. Goodbye is prob one of the hardest things to do in life. I learned that before and don't wanna go through it again. But guys lets hopefully have some good luck with the new bikes.

when i blew up my 400 about a week and a half ago, i was ready to get a 450 too... all the money im gonna sink into this 400 again to still not like the power it has.... thats why i decided to go with a 11:1 ported 440 with kibblewhite valves and hd springs, and gt thunder studs. id say in two weeks ill be plenty happy again for a while, but if i blow her again im going to get a can am 450, i work for the local can am dealership and i can get a new one at cost ($5200) and its a $8700 sticker price!!!! i just cant decide between a mx or xc version, i like the wide mx, but then again skids and more clearance and better tires are kinda a necessity for me. this is gonna be the hardest decision.

no deals on a ktm 525 or id have that instead

Point is, if some certain people left. People would be throwing flowers to them saying goodbye like they are going off to war. I've seen it, I've been on this board for a while. Theirs favorites around here and people that only help certain people out. They can ask the dumbest question and they will get a million responses.

i agree its kinda crappy that alot of the time i asked a question that it took forever to get an answer or just got one cuz everyone is to lazy to type a few words just to help out a fellow rider

good luck with the new bike. I think I would always keep the 400 around as a backup but if I had to choose it would be gone......it would be a tough choice though
