anyone else's 03 ltz400 run better on prime than on? while replacing my fuel hose i found i get very little flow on "on" and a great stream on "prime" bike runs terrible on "on" runs ok on prime

yea because on prime gravity will just let the fuel drain rapidly if its on (on) the suction of the carb. will suck the fuel outa the tank

CATAWAY- NO THE ENGINE WAS OFF I WAS DRAINING FUELTANK TO CLEAN THE FILTERS AT TOP OF PITCOCK VALVE.

my point is no gas should be coming out the petcock unless the engine is running ,if gas is coming out in the '' on '' position then there is a problem with the petcock.
i sugest you replace it with one from a raptor
