Hey guys since my 400ex is blown up, I might just go and get a new ktm 525 xc. I will be keeping the old 400 but wont fix it until I get the ktm all paid for. Thanks guys for all your help and I will pop back in once in a while to see whats been going on.

ya i hate to get a new bike but i am tired of working on something that keeps breaking. Hopefully i can get it working really good someday. But until them i will stick with the ktm.

I went and looked at one the other day with my friend. It looks like a great bike but a bit pricey.
$10100. It had alot of really nice parts on it though. My friend is thinking about getting it.

where is the tree you guys are getting this $$ from lol. that is a steal. i cant even get a 450r out the door with any discount from my dealers. it is a joke. they cant give the stuff away yet they wont deal with machines. lol. good to hear that someone is working with people at dealerships. steve

my 300ex use to be so reliable, but it got to a point where its being worked on all the time and breaking too.

Ya it seems once you start doing motor work it doesn't seem to like it. Thats why i am probably keeping the ktm stock well a full pipe and nerf bars is all that i will put on it.

You will love the new power. I tore my 07 400ex down a couple weeks ago and have no intention of putting it back together. I got a 450r and was hooked the first time i kicked it over.
