Here's a seat cover I was planning to use until I scored a couple others. It looks like it would match pretty good, however you have a bunch of colors going on. The cover is new, just need to remove it from the pan/foam.

Looks like you had a good time in the mud. :p

Dan I would love to have that eat cover pm me a shipped preic to 41465
the cover is oem Im thinkin has 2 small rips in it. and the rims are in decent shape. Im goin to pick them up this week...When I got the bike it was spray painted red. After many of hours with a razor I finally got it down to the green. I am goin to be painting the frame soon. I just dont know what color? What do you all sugest would go good with my green plastics?

Are you serious with the razor? You can remove spray paint a power washer or by simply taking it to the carwash.

I would like to see $50 plus shipping. It's a High-Flite. So let's say $60 shipped for the cover alone. I paid about $130 for cover and foam.

As far a colors, candy blue would work. Black or white would be alright to.

Let me know on the cover.

the tire combo you have is the worst for mud. Its awesome for hard tracks though. How is the tread on those grooved radials? I may be interested in them, if tread is good. The turf tamers also. All depends on some close up pictures of them and something to measure the tread depth. The front tire is a 19" or 20" and the rear looks to be 18" on a 8" rim. With trail riding, you want 21" front and a 20" rear. Woods guys prefer a 9" rear also, they say a 8" has too much roll in it(I feel differently). What is your gearing on it? for woods, I liked 14/39. Depending on the condition of the gold rims, you may want to dismount the tires and buy a different set of aftermarkets and sell the gold rims. They are rare to find in really good condition, they came stock on 85-87 250r's. Die-hard collector and restorers will pay a decent buck for mint golds's.

I like kenda klaw fronts(cheaper also) and kenda knarly rears for almost all riding. I do mostly mx and little trails. I'm using the 20" front and 18" rear. For hard tracks(w/ maybe some mud), I use grooved radials and grooved or ungrooved turftamers(depending on track condition). The combo you have on yours is the old school tire combo for mx. The fronts wear forever, I have almost 3 years on my grooved radials w/ little wear. You have riken tires(the preferred mx ones).

deathman53 hit it dead on. Good thing with them plus 2 arms is you can run either 3:2 rims for the track and be eight around 48" then get some 4:1's and put some XC tires on for the narrow woods.

Good luck with the project.

I was gonna build a 250r using +2 a-arms and do the same thing. 3:2 mx, 4:1 xc. I ended up not doing it. I was gonna go with a stock harness, lights and such and build a motor to make great low-mid, not much on the stop, looking for tractability. Get on a nice, somewhat hard mx track and those tires are the ticket. I have a set of holeshot 21"s and 20 xcr's to be used also. If I ever get to it, I'll have the stuff.

Whats the wire harness look like, is it a cr igntion or stock? You might want to consider lights and depends how hacked it is, it may require a new harness, 88 and 89's are still available. You will need the 88. For a tether and/or regular kill just put it to the leads for the key switch, make sure the ground doesn't touch the bars(if you use a cr kill), it will shock you good.

Another thing, Where is the skid plates?
