2 way radios while racing????

Does anybody use a 2-way radio system to communicate while racing?

I am looking into buying one. I think it would be great for my wife to tell me what going on behind me from the stands.

I have found two different brands.

Nady and Chatterbox

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

will they even let you use them? i know most of the dirt oval tracks that run cars and sprint cars won't let them use 2 way radio's.

I'm pretty sure AMA sanctioned races don't allow them

AMA/ATVA rulebook does not allow 2 way radios in races... now local races may be different. You may want to ask the track owner about that.
