We slipped into one of our duck hunting areas this evening to spy on the birds:p

We used my sneak boat and my youngest son Ryan and I slipped right up on this Great Blue Heron. Usually they fly away if they even see you here...

We got within about 10 feet of it as we slowly drifted into it

Those herons are everywhere around here. The different kinds are different colors, they are definitely cool looking birds.

Herons...and Egrets.

We saw a big White Egret but it wouldnt let us get remotley close

It was a cool evening for us. We saw Osprey's, a few Hawks, a Kingfisher, some Geese and ofcourse Herons.

The boys had a good time, Ryan would try and catch fish while we were waiting on birds and Cody just rowed and rowed up and down the river for a workout:p I dont know what he has on his agenda, but he is turning into a piece of steel!

Oh and for teh record, Booty was second....he said he wants to race the quad on saturdays and the bike on sunday after the summer break and needs to be in shapre for that....

personally i would have picked knockin boots over bangin trees.....i must have screwed up in his upbringin somewhere LMAO
