Well I rebuilt the motor last weekend and took it out to break in the cam and what not. Everything seemed ok.
I replaced the front bearings last night and took it for a test ride down the street. When I got on the gas I could hear what sounded like an exhaust leak, so I put my hand down there and sure enough I could feel air popping out at the left rear of the head.
I have the heavy duty studs and will have them installed tomorrow but my thing is.....I am running 110 octane and now the sleeve is discolored. It's like a bronze color, I can only assume its from the heat.
Is my jug jacked or will it be ok? Thanks, Micah
