I guess I'm now forced to be a Carolina Panthers fan seeing as how the stadium is only 30 minutes away but I just can't seem to do it. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see them lose but I just can't get into cheering for them either. At heart I'm still a Browns fan as painful as it is.

You see...that's the thing. We're actually pretty good in soccer, but nowhere near the par for the top teams (Milan, etc). So no championship in the near future. Which...let's face it. That's the only reason why people watch sports is for the slight chance they may win it all, which U.S. soccer has no chance at the moment.

soccer is a world sport unlike football which is just a USA thing same with baseball. The USA has a solid team but not yet ready for the worlds best.

why is it that in soccer, you have a 6ft tall guy defending a 24' wide by 8' tall goal with 9" ball and only a few goals are scored? for the most part, i understand how plays evolve, but watching people kick a round ball back and forth with little to no scoring gets kind of boring...this kind of places soccer below baseball and football of exciting games to watch

honestly, i think the rest of the world shuns american sports because they are jealous of not thinking of them first...or modifying the current game into something a little more exciting

if i must so i am not associated with the steelers...go dolphins(are they still a team in miami, or did they move)
