New to the Forum - Rear Shock Question.

So i've been tossing around the idea of throwing an 01 Raptor 660 rear shock onto my bike. Im slightly worried about blowing out the bladder so my question is WHY exactly does that happen? Is it something that can be fixxed with a rebuild? Im extremely curious because i can get the shock for free. Id much rather have a good aftermarket shock but who can beat FREE. Thanks

my bro weighs 165lbs and hasn't had a problem with the 660 shock he has about 13 races on it the only thing we did was added some air to the rezzy and he jumps with the best of them.
