I won a set of Factory 909 1/2 diamond 1/2 waffle grips the other day, and I was wondering if anyone runs these grips? I have medium compound Renthal 1/2 waffle 1/2 diamond now, but they're looking a little worn. Any experiences with the two?

Thanks.

I dunno, but full waffle gives me blisters. My '00 400ex came with ski-doo snowmobile grips, and thats what I have been running. They work awesome, and my hands dont slip off.

I have Renthals and they are sweet. I don't think I will run anything else Ever.

My friend is sponsored by Pro Grip, so I should be able to tell if I like them or not.

While the question is being asked, I have a friend that has an 02 Rancher.. He says the stock grips are too hard for him(he's an older guy) and he was wanting some really soft ones. Anybody got any recommendations? I had a set on my Banshee that would be perfect, but I never got the name of them. Thanks

I went through many sets of 909 grips. I liked the feel but they would not hold up for me. I think part of it was the glue I was using. I tried a set of Renthal medium diamand grips, by far the best move I have made. That and safety wire. :D
When I got my Rancher it had a set of Oury grips. The only problem I had with them was they break down in time. They became a real sticky slimy mess. I replaced them with Renthal's. If your friend don't like the stock grips he may like the Oury grips.
