Ok, I live in canada and its realy hard to get high octane. I was wondering if this will work...

I can get pure ethanol from the coop where I live. But I was wondering if I could just mix it with supreem gas or something and that would be like high octane.. Similar to E85. Thanks

E85 is 105 octane, I believe E100 is about 108-110 octane.

You can mix it with premium to achieve high octane, keep in mind that Ethanol requires a lot more fuel and you'll have to rejet accordingly.

If you run 50/50 Ethanol and premium, I'd recommend jetting up 15% from your gasoline baseline as a good starting point.

K well actual E85 is 85% ethanol right? I know that E85 is 110 octane. So if I mixed the ethanol 85 eth and 15 gas would I acheve this? Then do I have to mix it in a special way? Like agitate it or something. And any downside to doing it this way? Thanks

I just found out that the coop sells it. This means that im going 2 install an ATK soone :D.

E85 is 85% ethanol and it 105 octane not 110 octane.

IMO--I would start by mixing 50/50.

Im running a 11:1 wiseco piston w/ xr400 head gasket (thiner) p&p, hc stg 1, k&n air filter, yosh pipe full system 450r carb. Then im planning on getting the advance timing key.

Should I still run 50/50 with that build? Thanks

From my experience, the Sparks key with 11:1 (my setup is actually 11.3:1) compression creates spark knock once the engine is warmed up, even with 100 octane fuel.
