remove keyswitch??

my buddy left his key on the trailer today and we didnt notice it until we got home. is there anyway we can wire it up so it doesnt need a key. it a 99 400ex

I know there is ways to jump around it but I have yet to do it.

you could use a kill switch if you wired it correctly and got the right one a normally closed one should do it to wire into the 2 wires for the switch then it would kill the power when it is off. steve

I know also you can take the key switch apart and insert a dif key into and then grind the tumblers down so it will work. This would allow you to use a key from another bike on the same quad.

I dont know know the function on the key switch but I know banshee's do this alot might be a good google search thing. I know someone on the boards here used a kill switch for a start button and all of it.
