Mornin' on the water

We had hoped to be there by daylight, but the weather was kind of crappy so we got a late start.

Cody paddled 5 miles up river for his days exercise:p

I was hoping see some ducks or geese but only saw one Woodie and he was heading somewhere else:p

We did see 5 or 6 Hawks, one which flew over carrying a fish it had caught. Might be a good area to set up on and try to catch them fishing.

Pretty sure a deer had been bedded where Cody is looking, something good sized left out of there in a hurry

Cody broke out the rod but we just werent having any luck:p

This is the first time we have played on this strecth of the river. Its way shallow, at some points only 4 or 5 inches deep.

Had fun in any event.....:D

back to work now I think....if the strippers ready....if not, back to teh river for the evening before leaving for Loretta Lynns:p
