You are correct. As far as the frames, they are completely diiferent, if the motor runs no cracks on the frame, sound like a better platform for your son . 300 bux sounds pretty good. Also it wouldnt hurt to offer him less

the guy said the motor turns over but dont run cuz the motor is tilted to far forward?makes no sense to me but idk . .all i can do is go look. I thought i read that the motor bolts right in? like i said cheap parts if anything else.

Did you look at it? If the honda on the side ot the left cover is not paralell with the bottom frame rail then who ever converted it didnt know what they were doing. If the motor is tilted back to much the oil will go all the way to the back side of the motor and there could be crank failure i beleive, but even if that were to happen the oil had have been a little low

Yea i looked at it tonight. . and the thing was horrible!! Frame rotten!! let alone someones farm version of a +2ish lol someone had weld'd box steel in the control arm mounts and drilled holes for the a-arms. Motor was tilted forward and oil was coming from the head gasket and cylinder(jug) area. . . .oh yea it was seized:ermm: 90 mile round trip. . . just a bonus from the wife lol

A 250R frame does NOT have round tubing. Stock frames have square tubing, aftermarket is round almost always.
