My cousin has a set on his 450R they sides kinda flair up at an angle and there more kinda pastel red than honda fighting red.

If you hold them up to a honda fighting red plastics it makes them look almost pink. There a really nice set of nerf's though I liked them. Though the ones he got the guy sent the wrong motor mount bolts lol.

I wouldnt hesitate to buy a set if I was lookin.

I would not get the red ones again as they are not red. I would get the plain ones or black.

They look more red than they really are. I really like them and they seem to hold up good.

While mine aren't red, they've been on my 400 for about a year now. I beat that poor thing to death, and zero problems with the nerfs getting banged up. I got mine on sale and figured what the hell, they were too good to pass up. I have been very pleasantly surprised with their durability. And I'm a great big fat guy so they get a workout with me just getting on my toy, much less boucing off rocks and limbs.

Ebay vendor has them for $90 plus if you sign up for "Bing" cashback you will get another 12% off right now bringing it down to $79. Bing is just a search engine that rewards with cashback by using their search method. Great deal right now.

I have a pair of silver ones and they're holding up great. The only problem I've had is that the front mounting tabs are a little weak and tend to slip off of the frame rails. It doesn't affect anything since the nerfs sit on top of the frame rails and can't fall down, it's just something to watch.

do a google search for "Bing Cashback". It is a Microsoft search engine. You will need to sign up, but it is free and quick. Once you do and are signed in, do a search on the "Bing" search engine for any key word such as "Ipod", "Wii" and it will pull up search results and one will be "save 12% on "Ipod" or whatever thru Ebay. Click on that link and it will take you to Ebay's site with a logo at top showing 12% cashback. The Cashback works on "buy it now" options and must be paid thru PayPal. Real easy.
