I need more power!!!!

I have a 300ex with a Uni filter and a big gun "quiet" exhaust. I was wanting to get just a little more out of it. I was thinking about getting a 400ex carb, are they worth it. I have been seeing alot about using a sparks high-rev cdi. If you know of any other mods that can be done without breaking into the motor I would like to know about them. Any help that you are able to give me would help me alot, thanks alot for your time, help, and patience with all my questions.

you are not goning to get any good power without digging into the top end

What do you mean by going into the top end. Do you mean just head work or something like a big bore kit. Sorry I don't know that much about quads.

i would only suggest moving up to a 400ex carb after you bore the top end.

boring doesnt do much for the 300 you need port polish valves and a cam

ture true. i do agree. but dont most people get get port n polish after they bore the top end?.i alreadt got the cam.. wat did u do about the valves? just get a new valve job, or 3 angle valve job, or just buy new valves?
