i mounted up my steering stabilizer the best i could, could you guys tell me if this is the correct way? I dont think there is any other way that i can see except mounting it to the head stay.

Will it get too hot right next to the exhaust right there?

mount it so that the rod goes across the side of the motor instead of under the motor. that way you can adjust it on the fly

oooh hell! i thought it was suppose to be on the smaller 12mm bolts.

So it goes on the RIGHT side on the single big bolt on the front of the motor?

I mounted mine to the front of frame behind bumper. I used 7/8 bar clamps with a custom bracket attached to bolt the end of the stabilizer to. Not the best pic, only one i have right now.

I mount mine under the fuel tank so the adjuster is right by my right knee yet protected enough that it doesnt stick out! Slicker than snot! I can just reach under and adjust if necessary!

That style PEP stabilizer does mount to the smaller bolts on the right side motor mount. The pictures others posted of the stick style mount different as they have shown but the PEP you have does in fact mount to the motor mount. It is also not adjustable, I have the exact same one on my R.

Mine is mounted the same way except I put a small spacer between the stabilizer and motor mount so it was a little straighter. Never had any problems with mine.

so you mounted yours on one of the small 12mm bolts that hold the motor mount to the frame? IT doesnt get to hot? The reason i mount mine in a crooked manner is because if i dont it will get to close to the exhaust.

Yes I used one of the smaller mounting bolts. Never had a problem with it, there are many others on here that mounted it the same way you have it now.
