Will the stock rear sprocket and chain off of an '09 work on my '05?

Sprocket will, they chain will probably be too long since the 09 has longer swing arm, but can take some links out.

I believe 05 has a 14/38 gearing also.

are 300ex 400ex and 450r rear sprockets interchangable??

All Honda Sportrax Quads have the same rear sprocket bolt pattern. That's why we buy Honda! :D :muscle:
