1988 250r all original

i have a 1988 250r that i pick up a few months back, It is all original starts right up...
i wanted to make this into a bad *** puma drag bike but i just dont have the funds right now...
this bike is very clean... will consider a trades let me know what you got... would like to get 2300 local pick up only...

wish you were closer... i would take that off your hands...... BTW, if those plastics and seat are the original for that quad, its a 1989 model.

That's an 88 frame/bike with white plastics. The 89 seat says 250R on the side. The 89 frame also has a bolt hole in the subframe member for the heel guards that only came on the 89.

That's not the original paint on the frame and several other things make that quad, not exactly original...

I see more things that make it far from original. Radiator shrouds, skid plates, removed key switch, bumper, bars, shocks, 88 headlight plastic, painted frame w/ touch-ups, 14t sprocket, looks like an aftermarket pipe and wheels/tires. Not even close to original. Better pictures probably would show more things. It looks like almost all 250r's now 1/2 aftermarket and 1/2 original.

It's clearly not original, but it's not like he's trying to sell it for $5000.

I think it's a really good price for what he's asking.

I think he's just more interested in selling it rather than debating how "stock original" it is.
It's just typing but I didn't take anything from what he wrote as trying to make it more than what it is - mostly stock.

the plastics are off an 89 but the seat is off an 88. I will give you $70 for that seat cover.
