We have a OKO 21 with 123 main 40 pilot and the needle is second clip from top. Last week we were having a problem with it bogging on take off(new spring it was carb this time) so that's when I moved the needle seemed to run great the quad set for a couple days and now it's hard to start for the first time of the day and it won't idle down. After we get it started it starts fine but idles high(I've adjusted everything I believe) Any ideas, my instinct says there's something wrong with the float??

The other ??? is which size Keihin carb would be best for a A/C 70cc 20 or 24???? This OKO carb just seems to have gotten really unpredictable lately, it'll be great for two or three days and then it needs soemthing else thrown at it....

Is the Keihin carb really that much better?

Lean needle/pilot can make that idle high and take awhile to taper down...

You can try to richen your air screw first and see if that helps...

That is why an OKO is also known as an "Oh No" :)

Keihin carb is that much better --yes

So would i need a 24pe for a 70cc?

I did some more research for the price of a carb I think I'm gonna get the Keihin

we run a PE24 in our 70 and it is great for outdoors.
a PE20 will actually run good if you do small track or
indoors in winter. we've tried the other carbs and never
had any luck running even decent.
PEs are easy to tune and reliable.
Some guys we know run 28s in their 70 with
good results if the motor is modded heavily.
Good luck !
