I'd say its worth more than that. By the first looks, it seems to be in pretty good shape. Not knowing whats been doen to it, I'd say more in the $1700-$2100 range. Just my 2cents......

Then the R's carry a nastalgia value that other quads don't. I wouldn't pay anymore than I listed looking at either one of those quad. I can buy 04-05' yfz's and 450R's in the price range you listed. I'd never pay that for a 20-23yr old beater.

maybe so but the first time you have to go into it and do a top end you'll sink that amount right back into it. :huh

FWIW, the first one was listed for $2000 and the second was $2200.

the first one looks dead stock, dont buy it, WAY over priced for this economy, but the second one looks to be a damn good buy, its got some stuff on it and its not dead stock like the top one.

No, but I have ridden a couple. They both were nice quads, but again I would not pay that kinda money for a 20-23yr old quad. I don't care if its an R or not.

As for the top-end job...... blah blah blah... I love 2-strokes too guys, but some of you really blow the whole valve job deal waaaay out of perportion. Its not an every year job.

As I said, they're fun quads and VERY fun when setup correctly and taken care of. Both those quads look too old and beat for me to give that kinda money for them.

You need to get out of this forum, obviously you know nothing about the legacy of the 250R.

1st quad pic- $2000
2nd quad pic- $2600

lol, what are we back in highschool here?:p Grow up. I can visit any part of this forum I desire and leave whatever response I see fit. I have violated no rules. I simply gave my opinion of a quad's worth, which is what the OP asked. Its not like we're looking at someone's freshly restored R. These are two old worn/clapped out R's that are in serious need of a face lift.

As I've said, and will say AGAIN.....I would not personally pay that for the two quads shown. Agree with me or don't, but make no mistake I can be where ever I please. ;)

I GOT LUCKY I HAVE TWO 86 THAT ARE IN ABOUT THE SAME SHAPE AS THE SECOND PIC. ONE NEEDED A ROD BEARING BUT STILL RAN THE OTHER NEEDED TIRES AND HAD BEEN RESLEEVED TO A 310 (WHICH I HAVE TAKEN OFF SINCE I GOT IT) AND I DON'T THINK I HAVE TWO THOUSAND IN BOTH OF THEM COMBINED.
