I went to menards and bought a little rubbermaid container with a lid. put in some bubblewrap newspaper and cordboard, taped the crap out out of it and sent it flyin

wallmart sells a cooler that fits a motor perfect. a lot of ppl who ship motors use them.

I had a friend that shipped his motor in a cooler. He wrapped the engine in plastic, set in the cooler, then sprayed spray foam in the cooler. When it set up he trimmmed the top so the lid would fit on and taped it shut. Motor got to the destination in perfect shape.

Definitely a cooler. I used a Rubbermaid container and ended up with a cracked side cover that neither the shipper or the shop would admit to. I like the spray foam idea, that's pretty ingenious.

travis spader told me he uses a cooler with wheels and a handle on it. i baught one from target and used it several times... just drop the motor in and drill a couple holes for zipties so nobody opens the lid
