Pretty much. There is supposed to be a slight difference in cams and the carb has TPS (throttle position sensor), but both are not overly noticable.

05+ has stronger frame.
shocks with rezzies
different swingarm/bearing carrier (1 bolt instead of 2).
sub frame with replaceable grab bar
carb?

the improved sub frame has gussets on the right side(exhaust side) not sure if it was 05 or 06 was the first year. anybody?
