i am getting a 11:1 je piston and a tc race cam. what should i do about jets? should i get a new carb or should i put new jets in mine? if so what size jets or what type of carb is best? thanks for the advice....










01 400 ex
18*11*8 turf tamers on .190 race wheels
19*6*10 holeshots mx on .190
fmf head back with procircuit t4 silencer
jetted (not sure what size jets)
Barnett clutch
WB rev kit
Dg nerf bars & skid plates
14-tooth renthal sprocket (front)
36-tooth sprocket specialist (rear)
o- ring chain

depend on the money you have to spend > new carbs are much$$$$if it where me I would use stock carb start with a kehin 42 pilot, 170 main ,raise needle one notch on carb 4th from top of needle, and mixture screw 3 turns out that will put you in the ballpark, unless you have the money then go with is it the fcr carb people say the performance gain is worth the cash I think it is about $400, but I may be wrong, as opposed to $ 30 in jets with the stock carb, the fcr is better if money is not a issue hope this helps.
