no KTM quads for 2010 so hopefully you'll be able to find a 2009.

The 2010's are the 2009 left overs....just about everyone is in the same boat. No need to keep making them when they are plenty sitting in the warehouse...this is for the ATV. Havent heard anything on the bike models

so basically does this mean that "when" the economy picks back up, by it maybe by the end of the year, they'll will start to produce "actual" 2010 models?

i quote my dads buddy that owns a KTM dealership, "that was just a 2 year thing." he was referencing the 2010 KTM quads.

so according to him, no more quads period. no 2010's, no 2011's.

im still leaning toward switching whether they continue later on or not they are amazing the only thing im sketchy about is i talked to bruening at dilla and i asked him if they had any problems and he wouldnt say but the way he said it there seemed like something was up but who knows

to get as much exposure as possible. i highly doubt McGill will be with KTM next year though. we'll see.

a lot of the times deals in GNCC are only 2 years anyway,

I don't know anything official but i HIGHLY doubt that they are out of the game for good. No one spends that much money to design an ATV like that and then jump right out again.

I'm pretty sure Honda is doing the same thing by selling mainly 2009 leftovers and some 2010 models.

Like pappy said, there is no sense in making more when they have tons backed up.

so they're changing all the VIN's on the 09 to 2010? can they do that? legally? are people going to start buying these as collectors? A local yamaha dealership near my house bought 15 of the 2008 banshee's and he is going to sell them in 10-20 years for three times the amount. but he would sell one now for 9000 canadian.

Angel Atwell hates hers and has a lot of problems from what I've heard.

I love my SX tho! Ridiculous what these things are capable of in stock form.

no. basically their wont be any quads with the VIN's of 2010. just the 2009's. and then im guessing they will start again with 2011 VIN's.

oooo I don't know how well thats gonna blow over. there better be big discounts. If I'm gonna pay for a brand new bike in 2010 it had better say 2010 on the stamps and the paperwork.

why? might as well buy an 09 which is still the newest model, and save a ton of money.

you know as well as I do that they will try to advertise and sell these bikes as 2010. And if somone didn't know they they didn't make them in 2010 the dealership will sell the bike to them at MSRP. people are gonna get ripped off.

There's no rip off going on.

The reason the previous year's model depreciates in value is because of the new models.

In this case there are no new models thus no depreciation for the "old" (09) models. Thus, no rip off.

^^exactly, dealerships always try to work over whoever they can because people like tommy come in and jew em down over every little thing.
