just blew an apex. dont know how bad yet. anyone know the best place to order parts. hetricks and westcoast, apex are the only places I know

tore it down. blew a hole in the piston about the size of a quarter, anyone have any ideas what might have caused this

Definitely running lean. What did your spark plug look like?

piston and plug was light brown no oil at all on them. the antifreeze had turned black what causes that?

sounds like it ran hot and melted the o-ring. how did they look? bc if the color of the plug was good it may have been to high of compression caused by the water

thanks for the reply. broke the engine down and found the water pump had broke all the fins off and let it get to hot causing all my problems. going strong again
