Does anyone know is there any where you can go or any way to like refinish your clutch basket, i was wondering cause mine has grooves in it and i was thinking that there really shouldn't be any reason why you couldn't just file down the edges since the engine only turns one way

you can file them down but it would only b a temporary fix. once you file them down they get weak and will break off. you would b better of replacing the clutch basket

do you think just filing them down just that couple of millimeters would really compromise their strength so much that they would just break off. I really don't know if it would or not it just seems weird to me that, that little bit would cause them to break.

If its not grooved really bad u can file them down but if its bad just get a new basket.

Give it a try as long as you just have to file off enough to clean it up, it shouldnt hurt anything. If you have to file off alot, your clutch plates will probably start rattling around in there.
