Is there a way to know if your waterpump impeller or waterpump in general is shot? is the impeller supposed to spin cause i cant spin mine manually! does that mean its toast?

yes you should be able to spin it by hand, your impellar shaft bearing is probably shot

are you trying to spin the impeller with or without the clutch cover still mounted to the engine? if you are trying to spin it with everything still together(clutch cover still on engine) then no you shouldnt be able to turn it. it is being driven by the counter balancer.
