Check out The Outdoor Channel for a show called ATV Television. It was on last night at about 10pm and showed a WORCS Series race in California. It was kind of a MX adn XC race setup. It was kewl. I saw some 400ex's, Z400's, and 250R type quads. The editor of Dirtwheels won the race. I think Rico was 5th and one of TQS guys finished 6th.

:D

wow, thats a first. I saw that show many times and I stopped watching it because its always 4x4. I have seen the show over a dozen times and never seen one race in there. Most of the time you see these guys go 2mph through the trails on utilty quads.
Some people might not have this channel though.

Speaking of which, I was checking in january 2003 issue of dirt wheels and they were saying something about a race being put on tv later on this year, on TNN. I hope its not the side show for the monster trucks:grr

We want to c some fast quads doin some racing. We have seen enuff swamp buggies, 4x4 quads with about 100 bolt on hunting contraptions, and quads goin 2 miles and hour goin over huge rocks for who knows what reason. Why not ride around the huge rocks, why the flunk spend 10 grand to get your quad to ride over them?

I seen that also!! The guy on the show said he has been getting many requests to show more sport ATV's and they have a lot of it coming up. he said they will have more races and also are working on a huge Sport ATV comparison!! Actually Doug Eichner won the race!!!

I thought that was eichner on the Z400 that tried testing out the grab bar on that table top.

dang it, I was all confused then. lol
I thought they were saying that eichner was slowing down because of the crash and that the guy on the R was catching up, but didn't have time. Oh well. I believe you. That was still pretty cool to watch though.

Doug was on the R. it was some other guy on the Z400 that crashed and still ended up taking 3rd place,,,the editor of DW was in the race but i dont think he finished in the top 3! he was at the top in the beginning of the race though
