i have a 2004 honda 400ex bored .30 over and a fmf power core pipe. When i was riding it the other day i notice that when i was riding, if i hit the throttle all the way open, it would bog down and die. It also did it going up a hill, not at the bottom but when i got to the top and i would have to pump it to keep going.(i went up the hill 6 or 7 times and it did it every time). so what could be causing this?:confused:

Do you have the air box lid on or off ? If it's on try taking it off to get it more air. Has it been rejetted after the pipe was put on ?

i did take the airbox cover off. i don't know if it has been rejetted. Also yesterday i was riding and it died. i tried to refire it and it idled low and died again. so i started it and started pumping the gas and it would backfire and smoke but after about 20 sec. of this it ran fine.
