I have a set of Sur Traks on my 300EX for the winter, but I want to also put some snow chains on with them considering they are under 50 bux
Problem is, Sur Traks are 2/bias ply tires, somebody told me you cant put chains on a tire under 6 ply cuz it will tear the tires apart??? Is that true?????? that doesnt sound right to me!?
Im buying the chains no matter what i think, if they cant go on the Sur Traks Ill put them on the 6-ply Holeshots, whatever it takes
So what are peoples opinions on chains? and is that stuff about ripping the tire apart true???
