I never seen a "scoop type" plastic hood...I know Maier makes a flat one out of plastic...

yea i have seen the maier one on a 400EX. freestylexrider has one.i dunno tho about a plain plastic one

Yes maier makes a hood for a 250R that will fit on a 400ex with some modifications of course..it's called the smoothy hood. here's pic of one mounted on a 400ex..

accually i can get one from a guy i know. only thing is they mount through the top and will be like 80$ i had a post about this a while ago

FIBE Industries has awesome hoodscoops. Smoothy or scoop and they look like a QuadTech scoop. very good stuff. his hoods are made of fiberglass. i think he said they would cost 120-130 i dunno exactly you can call him at (705) 424-9224 or email him at FIBE Industries@hotmail.com
