funny you say that, i hate it. its too weak. one 40 or 50 foot table. its a good practice track but thats it.

i really like Sunshine mx in tampa, i also like lakeland quicktrack before they closed down.

Well thats all dade city is is jumps. Just not very big ones lol. I did like lakeland though it was one of the nicest tracks, I heard they are reopening in auburndale or something but you never know for sure. Until then Thundercross is the best track near me.

how do you figure? (refering to the closest track)

tampas sunshine is closer. bartow... theres a few. i never did ride that track. i rode the other one in okeechobee, its shut down now. it was horrible. all rocks, there were horses on the track while we were practicing:huh. however thundercross looked good.

and theres no tellin for quicktrack. im guessin its done, with the way the economy is, there is no tellin.

also man you have to come out to bubbas on friday nights.

we are having sand drags. its only 350ft long. there are a few mxr's out there including my brother. we kill lol. cost ten bucks to ride. lots of fun.

yea its a good little ride for me too.

however we got to Okeechobee from here (right between tampa and orlando) it 2 hours.

i guess i will have to ride over that way one time.

My favorite track was live oak. they moved it now and its not all that great. the original track was all clay with a 100ft sand section. it was really cool because ppl would run turfs or razrs for the clay and as soon as they hit the sand it killed em. They also had a 95-110ft table. i was hitting it on my 400ex. i got a concussion there. :confused:

Ya the old amp xtreme Was crazy, i only rode it once, then they moved. I loved that little strait away under the trees and next the little pond. ohhh i miss that track:( plus it was sorta close to me

i had a bad experience at that track.

got ko'd.

i remember a few parts, i remember the start, where i hit someone, i remember spinning out and knocking my plastics (seat. rears) off, then i remember waking up laying in between two whoops with my shoulder hurting.

"hey sam sam, are you okay"
"what, what happend, where am i"
"your at the ****ing race track" brother
"my shoulder hurts" reaches to take my helmet off, couldnt do it.
"o um.. let me see" touches it and pops it back in:scary:
"ahhhhh u ****er"
"alright come on" helps me up and carries me over to a friends rhino

i was out. bent four rims, two a arma, axle, rear plastics (they were on the other side of the track). made the medics mad, wouldnt let them check me over. i should have lookin back but all i wanted to do was fix my fourwheeler (which i didnt lol).

Yeah I dont go to sunshine often thats why but its pretty good(havent ridden the new setup though). idk I think thundercross is funner and better practice. But I think everyone agrees the old amp was the best track ever. It had everything imaginable for a motocross track It would be a perfect training track for nationals. Too bad they lost that place. Their new one is good though, it has a lot of big jumps and is really long just not as good of dirt and it just seems suckier compared to the old one haha. Have you been to Bartow lately? They run the track backwards, built a tt track and are making a supercross track. Im actually impressed cuz latley Bartow has been getting worse its nice to see them actually doing something with it.
I want to go to bubbas but my bike keeps messing up, its broken down like 3 weeks in a row lol. And im going to lorettas this week so maybe next week.(do I need parental stuff to ride or can I go by myself?)

im in no rush to sell it. it needs to be freshened up, i just order a new piston. its a good bike. no probs.

i always thought the "i cat" spark inhancer was a dumb idea, wow was i wrong. believe it or not it makes the bike feel as though it revs so fast.

anyways. i have had a few offers at race tracks and such. like i said, no hurry.

lol i never took it that way.

yea i dont know what they run but if they are less than a hundred bucks its worth it (came with the bike lol).

the bike is pretty tame. great suspension. the motor is built for xc with the big fluidyne radiator. the motor is not pushed to the max. idk. i didnt build it. i changed a few things to make it right for me.

yeah I'm back ridin, went to the doctor a couple days ago and he said its somehow stronger than it was? The vertebrae fused together so he said I'm good to go. Been practicing as much as i can and i honestly feel better than before. First race back is on the 29th at a local track.

This is my 2006 450er, i polished all the aluminium out, it is a stock swingarm but i sanded it down smooth and polished it out, i sanded the spindles, parts of the hubs, and parts of the brake calipers and polished them also. (pics were takin before numbers were put on)

I'm bein a grave digger...

Bartow is awesome, but I have nothing to compare it to from before they changed the track and started running it in reverse. I'm there just about every Tuesday night now though. The TT track is fun as well, but it's not hard packed like the Thunder Bowl is in Ocala persay.

And as far as Sunshine goes... they are supposed to be starting a Quads only practice on Tuesday nights and a quads points series on Saturday nights but those are the rumors. The track is fun until it gets torn up and then it's hard to carry your speed/momentum throughout (at least for me it is but I'm kind of a noob). I live 5 minutes away, literally... but would much rather make the drive to Bartow or Hardrock.

nothing special. have razr cross fronts and mx rears on it new as of august. shes a waiting new bearings ball joints tie rod ends some fresh powdercoat and a new seat cover though.

kyle, on that hood did u have to drill any holes up bye the stearing stem? or just the two at the bottom? im looking to get a new hood and dont really wanna drill holes up by the stearing stem on the shroud. if u want. pm me thanks

Haha yea i ride it. The other pics i have of it are from when everything was just PCed so thats why it looks so clean, and i acctually just got done cleaning it up real good puttin some new stuff on it ect. Did you lower both of your subframes or just one? One of them seems to sit lower than the other.

only thing i cant figure out is: ive heard and been told its best to have the front end a little wider than the rear for tracking. On this bike it seems like the rear is a tad wider:confused: lol

hey I don't know if you are replying to me or h400exrydr. Anyways my nerfs are DC-Pro nerfs from Lonestar. With their DC-Pro heel guards. I really like them so far. Heel guards are steel and pretty heavy though. Good luck finding the nerfs you want.
