alright so my cvousin gets a 440ex that doesent move we put in a new clutch and springs nothing we take it to s freind and he told us it needs a new presssure plate and inner hub cause where the plates sit its reallky worn out which makes sense.

BUT i notoced if you put the quad in gear and go move it it mo ves in every gear as if its in neautral? im almost postive that the prossure plate and inner hub would not play a part in this? am i correct? what im i looking for as a problem andyone know what to do please help. steve

i would agree that it is something in the tranny if the clutch and everything is replaced. the plate and the hub should not make that big of a difference. the plates should still go together so it should be disengaged in terms of the clutch not being pulled or acting like it is pulled apart. i would say something on the shafts for the gears is messed up or something along the lines. steve lol

im not 100& positive but my old 300ex did the same thing and it was the output shaft right where the front sprocket goes, check and see if that's it.

Do you have your clutch adjusted right? U can adjust it at the perch and at the motor case.
