HI everyone, glad to be here.

I have an lt80 for one of my boys, but the other one is currently on a raptor 250--too big to ride in his age class.

I saw an 06 typhoon 125 for sale for about $1000, wondering if that's a good deal? Should i look at DRR or another LT80? The LT takes a lot to get it race ready, so i'm kinda leaning away from that.

Thank you for your help.

I'd get a DRR or Apex. Ask around in here about the pitster Pro.

The LT80 is way cheaper to make race ready "but" the fact is, unless you're running a flat track race, the suspension of the LT80 is a giant drawback compared to the dual a-arm mini's out there.

IMO: Find a used machine. The nationals are over after the race at Lorretta Lynn's. You can buy a race ready machine for 40-50 cents on the dollar.
This a good forum to ask about a used mini.:)

Thanks LT80. I see an 08 on ebay that's fairly close to me.

I think i also sent you a PM a couple of days ago about a post you did a while back...regarding getting the lt80 to be screaming fast by increasing the rev limit...like doubling it...? Do you still do engine work?

Yes! I'm sure that I replied but maybe it was sensured(sp).
