Against my womans' wishes, I made a couple more changes to the 400. It is amazing how much of a difference a couple small parts make. Here are some pics to show the changes. Hope you guys like the new look...I know I do!

Fresh powder on the blingstar voctory bumper. I thought the polished look stuck out like a sore thumb, so I powdercoated it black. This worked out well because I do not like the textured look that blingstar uses.

Next are the new ASV levers. I wanted black levers so that everything flows, so I picked up the best ones I could afford.

Now is the biggest change. I have been wanting a set of nerf bars for a very long time now, so I took advantage of the recent sale from Burgard.

Burgard race nerf bars with pegs and heel guards. All black with black nets. These nerfs are built very well and bolted up perfect. The pegs are huge and the word sturdy would be an understatement. I love these things.

Here are a few more shots showing off the new 450R shocks and the rest of the bike. I have not ridden on the new shocks yet, but I can tell just by sitting on the bike and messing around that the 450R shocks are going to be a huge improvement.

Now you just need to coat the wheels black too and you will be amazed at how much better it will look. I think I may switch my plastics to red this winter so yours is giving me a pretty good idea what mine may look like.

I was thinking about some black beadlock wheels to help out the look. I just can not bring myself to buy them yet though...some Burgard extended a-arms and triple rate springs are calling my name.

The plan is to find a nice cheap set of Burgard +2 or +3 a-arms and rebuild them. New powder, balljoints, bushings and tie rods. I just can not figure out what color I should powder the arms. I think that I should do them the same color as the frame, but I have not decided what color I am going to do the frame yet either. Maybe like a lollipop red or a candy apple red...hmmm.
