Aftermarket Idle Screw search

Im looking for an aftermarket Idle screw, mine just snapped on my 400ex and I am pissed.

I keep finding fuel screws, but no Idle screws. Im almost to the point of taking the stock carb and threading it out bigger and putting a motorcycle idle screw on it. (I dont like the small know on the stock adjuster)

Do you guys know of any longer idle screws available for the 400ex motor. Im not sure if the xr400 has a longer screw, or if it fits.

Could go to the dealer and ask them to match up the thread with a longer screw. Thats what I would do first.

If you can find out the thread pitch and length and stuff you can probably buy the screw at mcmaster carr online.

I checked the dealer, they said no dice.

I do know the thread. its a 4mm with .5 pitch about 3 inch depth.....Im gonna check that mcmaster carr you mentioned tommorow and see what they say.
