When I placed my order of Honda parts the other day, I forgot to get a radiator cap on that order.

Does anybody know if I can get something that will work at a local auto parts store?

Thanks.

Check out my post-running hot wierd burn on piston-someone posted a link to mr. gasket.com i believe, they have rad caps with temp guages built in for $25. I think you can run one from a nissan pick up i think? should be able to find that at any auto parts store. Hope this helps, also try a search.

skyhigh is correct. the rad cap for a 86-91 or so will work. all my quads have it on there. although i'm liking the rad caps with a temp gage built in. :D

almost all honda's use the same radiator cap. I found a cap at an auto parts store. Check your honda dealer, they probably have a cap for a cr, crf, or trx450r.

the cap off of a civic holds a small bit more pressure in the system, and that will aid in cooling. i can get the part number this evening.

The cap for my toyota pickup works, and it's rated a bit higher. Just go to the auto parts store and look up a Honda or Toyota cap. Best of all is they're only about $6-$9
