Where is the fuel mixture screw?

I jetted my quad and forgot to adjust the fuel screw. Someone said it was under the front end of the carb, but isn't it just by the choke?

it is just about directly in back of the idle screw on the bottom of the carb. it is on the front side of the carb out of a cylinder type area. it is about in line with the black hose that comes down with the idle cable in it so it is kindof hard to get to. also it is easier to see on the left side looking to the right. it is the yellow circle on the pic. good luck, steve

There is where I thought it was, but mine does not have the "slot" in it. There is no way to turn it in/out. It looks like it was missed in the quality control with Honda. It is one solid surface. What would be the best way to "notch" a groove into it?

Yours is probably an '05 or newer, which would not be slotted. They're D shaped. You can make a tool to adjust it out of a spent shell casing, if you're into firearms. That's what I did.
