Personally, I wouldn't buy a 2004 KX250F unless it was a crazy good deal (or an '04 RMZ250--they are the same bike other than one says Kaw and the other Suz, literally). They have a pretty woeful reputation for reliability. Thinking cynically, the "many new parts" is probably referring to the forth from-the-ground-up valve job it's required.

But I have never owned one so my opinion is based on anecdotal reports and my own bias.
