Getting closer

Getting closer to being able to ride my project R. Finished up the electrical on her this morning. Pretty much just made an all new harness that is very simple. Ordered the last of the parts that I need. Only other things are going to be fluids, little nuts and bolts here there, stuff like that.

I started this project last December and my goal was to be able to ride it this fall. I never thought I would have been able to pull it off with the tight ***** budget that I have been trying to build her on. Maybe by the end of the month I will be able to take her on her first ride to work out the bugs.

Lots of good information has been found here. Along with some parts as well. Thanks to all that have contributed to my project.

Kind of neat thinking about I started with a 23 year old frame a while ago and now she is just about to be able to go out, turn heads and kick some 4-poke butt.

Thanks for reminding me of that. I have been pretty good about taking pictures during this project. I will have to get a couple of her as she sits right now. I will get a couple up in the next day or so.

Where is everyone sourcing those overflow bottles from. Seems a bunch of people have the same ones. Are they coming from anything in particular?

Most of the ones are re-packaged polaris preditor coolant bootles.

Got mine off of ebay. Came off of a Polaris. A buddy of mine has one on his R and said it works great so I got one for mine.

There is one sitting on it in the picture. But it has such a mirror finnish on it, you almost do not see it.
