Whats do you guys think, edelbrock carb (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA-TRX400EX-EDELBROCK-CARBURETOR-CARB-KIT-TRX-400EX_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el111 6QQhashZitem53d5737033QQitemZ360063397939QQptZMoto rsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories) Vs 450r carb?
Was looking pretty hard into getting a 450r carb but ive heard nothing but good about edelbrock, and the price isnt all that much of a difference. if this debate was already posted somewhere, any chance i could get a link?

Thanks again guys, this webiste rocks.

You can get a factory new one on service honda for $160 never used.

I have heard the edelbrocks once tuned are one of the best but there one that is usually dyno tuned by a pro there not something just take apart and fix.

I've got the edelbrock 440 carb on my stock motor and I love it. It is much better then the stocker. I cant say what it's like compared to the 450r carb though.

$160 for a 450r or $360 for a edelbrock, i just want to know if its worth the cash. all the jetting issues and having to mod it kinda worries me about the 450r carb. After reading the 30 page posts on it.

Not that big a deal. All I did when installing my carb was cut the little lip on the air boot and then installed a piece of metal in the tube to keep it from colapsing then tightin. Then installed on the motor worked fine.

Just the performance for me wasnt that great didnt much like it went back to stock. Never ran an edle but I have heard ther a pain in the ***.
